About Yu Yin Melodies

Created in April 2020, Yu Yin is a Grade 9 violinist, a self-taught pianist (relearning after 6 yrs) & a professional kalimbaist. She's from MALAYSIA. Her ethnicity is Malaysian-Chinese. In this channel, you'll find violin solos, violin duets with Yu Yin's sister, piano & kalimba videos. She's very fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin & Cantonese. 

Yu Yin's musical journey:     

 • Yu Yin started playing the piano at the age of 4 but she stopped learning at the age of 7 as she doesn't have any interest anymore. Recently, Yu Yin has started relearning the piano again after about 8 years.     

   • Yu Yin started playing the violin at the age of 8 until now.

As a violinist who stopped learning from a teacher after grade 8, Yu Yin finds it hard to keep herself motivated in learning new classical songs. Thus, Yu Yin Melodies is born to not only keep Yu Yin motivated, but also as a place to share music with people from all around the world with her talent in various instruments.
